City Journal is a new English language tabloid, being published from Thrissur in Kerala, a city famous the world over for its spectacular Pooram. We are currently the only home-grown daily newspaper in English to be published from anywhere in Kerala.

We aim to focus on local events. We not only train our spotlight on people’s problems and demands but also seek to celebrate our readers’ joys and achievements. We are not in competition with any of the existing players but seek to complement them. We hope to bring a new approach to newspaper journalism, departing from the usual whining and constant criticisms. In short, we hope to be able to bring a refreshing change to your lives. We need your prayers and patronage.
