Vimala College students begin anti-tobacco campaign

NSS volunteers of Vimala College taking out a march yesterday demanding total ban on tobacco in the 9th division of the corporation.
Vimala College NSS volunteers organised a blood group determination camp and a tobacco-free village campaign at Cheroor Library yesterday.

The function was inaugurated by Deputy DMO G Nandini. Deputy Mass Media Officer Santhosh Kumar took the class. The aim of the programme was to create awareness about the harms of tobacco and also to make 9th division a tobacco-free village.

A march, seminars, pamphlet distribution and visiting houses were held. They also highlighted the dangers of panmasala use among students.
